GulfDecoded exists to give clear, accurate and practical guidance on doing business and living in the UAE. This page explains how we create and maintain our content.
How we research
- We start from firsthand experience of setting up and running a company in Dubai.
- We check rules, fees and procedures against official sources, such as UAE government portals, the Federal Tax Authority, the Ministry of Economy, and the relevant free zone or immigration authorities.
- Where a rule is unclear or recently changed, we say so rather than guess.
How we write
We write in plain English, explain the steps in order, and include real costs and timelines where we can. We may use AI tools to help draft or organise content, but every article is reviewed, fact-checked against official sources and approved by Saif Ullah Iqbal before publishing.
Keeping content up to date
UAE regulations change often. Each article shows the date it was last updated, and we review our guides regularly and whenever a significant rule change is announced.
Corrections
If you spot an error or outdated information, please tell us at contact@gulfdecoded.com. We review every report and correct confirmed errors promptly.
